
Today we touched upon the power of the Divine Feminine as expressed by Mary Magdalene in the writing attributed to her-The Gospel of Mary. The re-emergence of Mary and a renewed awareness of her importance in the Christian story is an essential remembering of the Feminine. She, Mary, is part of the story of the Matriarch in a time of Patriarchy. Mary’s life journey was a spiritual exploration in uncharted territory.
As we embrace the Divine Feminine we can be inspired by women who have gone before us; women who has found the deep river of sustenance which feeds the soul.
Mary had a particular perspective which her writings explore. She received profound individual teachings from her teacher, Jesus. The teaching on “HARMONY” illustrates the value Jesus placed on our individual responsibility to cultivate harmony in ourselves and in the world. Through this harmony, we inhabit our highest self-our place of JOY.

Vanilla & Cinnamon Cantaloupe Smoothie
1 Cantaloupe, peeled, deseeded and roughly chopped
Seeds from 1/2 vanilla pod or 1/2 tsp alcohol-fee vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp raw honey, optional
1 cup ice, optional
Place all of the ingredients in blend and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.

28 MINUTE SESSION DAY 1
6 minutes (YES SIX-YOU’VE GOT THIS LADIES) holding arm asana (see below-thumbs touching in mudra) while utilizing the breath technique (pranayama) of an inhale and exhale through your nose to a count of approximately 11 (5.5 count inhale/5.5 count exhale); repeating for the entire 6 minutes while hands are held four to six inches above the crown.
5 minutes Mantra chanting: My Heart is the center of my essence. I trust what my heart embraces. Repeat silently or out loud for the full five minutes. Allow yourself to sink into this truth; to expand your heart center. Visualize the heart pulsating and beating with JOY and TRUTH.

12 minutes sitting on earth under a tree or in the sun OR sit on a bench/chair with bare feet touching Mother Earth. The point is to connect your physical body with the vibration of the planet. This is grounding for both your energetic and physical body. While sitting use the 12 minutes as you connect with the earth vibration to play with your creativity. If you wish to continue the writing prompt, please write about your spiritual journey, when it began in earnest, how it has changed over time and where you would like to see it deepen. What are the challenges to this journey? If you wish to engage your creativity with another form- try coloring, drawing, painting, writing a poem, or dancing on the earth’s surface for the 12 minutes. Try something we do not usually engage with-explore your creativity beyond the usual.
Finish session with the preparation of the Cantaloupe and Vanilla Smoothie (from recipe above) to refresh and nourish yourself. EnJOY your day.
