I am an author, writing teacher, landscape designer, and lover of nature in all forms. I raise bees, chickens, ducks and one pilgrim goose named Magdalene, after Mary Magdalene my favorite pilgrim. I've been creating an edible forest garden for the last 10 years with the hope of opening my home for workshops, retreats and classes. Creativite expression is my joy, whether it be writing, singing, playing a frame drum, dancing, walking my succulent labyrinth or just sitting in nature. I am a learner by nature so I have many certificates and degrees as a dream teacher, permaculturist, medicinal herbalist, and I have my MFA in creative writing. I am the mother of 6 and grandmother of 8 and am loving stepping into my wise woman, crone, mentor, teacher stage in life. I miss our gatherings at Spirit House so even though I'm late to the Shared Wisdom website, I've been so moved by the Fragrance of Joy offerings.
